Map maker
The agar.io map maker
Draw your own agar map in the browser: walls, pellet zones, snap and symmetry tools, and a preview that updates as you work. Publish it and it goes live on a free hosted server anyone can join.
From blank map to live server
- 1
Set the rules
Start from a template or a blank world. Pick the world size and tune how cells split, merge and decay.
- 2
Draw the map
Place walls and pellet zones. Snap and symmetry tools keep the layout fair, and the preview updates live as you draw.
- 3
Publish
Your map goes live on a free hosted server with its own page and link. Share it or let players find it in the browser.
More than terrain
Walls and pellet zones
Shape chokepoints, arenas and feeding grounds on any world size. Snap keeps edges clean; symmetry mirrors your layout automatically.
Physics you control
Split rules, merge timers, viruses, bots, teams and win conditions are all sliders in the same editor. The map and the mode ship together.
Published as a server
Every published map runs on alis.io hosting, free, with live player counts. No files, no port forwarding, nothing to keep online.
Common questions
- Is the map maker free?
- Yes. The editor runs in your browser and publishing is free. You sign in with Discord so the map is yours to edit later.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. Drawing, testing and playing all happen in the browser. There is no client to install and no server files to manage.
- Can other people play my map?
- Yes. Publishing puts your map on a live hosted server with its own page and link. It also appears in the community browser for anyone to join.
- What can I put in a map?
- Walls and pellet zones on any world size, placed with snap and symmetry tools. The gamemode rules around the map, like split limits, merge timers, viruses, teams and win conditions, are yours to tune too.
- Can I build on someone else’s map?
- Yes. Any community gamemode can be remixed into your own copy, so you can start from a map you like and change it.
